John 12:28-32, “…Father, glorify Your name!” Then a voice came out of heaven, “I have glorified it, and again I will glorify it!” Therefore the crowd that was standing there and heard it was saying that it had thundered. Others were saying, “An angel has spoken to Him.” Yeshua responded, “This voice hasn’t come for My sake, but for yours. Now is the judgment of this world! Now the prince of this world will be driven out! And as I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself.”
The Lord has revealed something to me again; Thank You, Lord! As Mari and I were reading this passage a few days ago, these words jumped out at me. We stopped reading and spoke about it for a few minutes. Yeshua/Jesus said that the voice was for the people’s sake. Then He said something strange, “Now is the judgment of this world!” The people heard the voice of Father speaking to Him, and He says that the world is being judged, NOW!
Then he adds; “Now the prince of this world will be driven out!” What does Now mean? Does it imply something in the future? Does it imply the end of the world? No, it means at this time! Then Yeshua says, “And as I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself.” So when did Now take place? When He was nailed to the stake and took all of our sin upon Himself, judgment of this world took place, and the prince of this world was driven out! This world has already been judged, and it is seen in how we respond to Yeshua/Jesus on the cross!
During His time in the tomb, He went to hell and took back the keys Satan had stolen from Adam and Eve! His resurrection proved He was God and Messiah and all the world needs to believe in Him! The people heard the voice so they could know and believe that He was their Messiah!
We all need to understand and get the revelation, the world is judged and the prince of this world has no authority in this world anymore! He will lie to you and try to make you think he does have authority over you, but you need to tell him that you know the truth, and he has been driven out already and through Yeshua/Jesus you have authority to put him in his place!

Entering God’s Rest
Last Sunday, Pastor Monty took us to Hebrews 4:1. I was meditating on what he shared, and the Lord took me to Hebrews 4:8-10 (The Tree of Life Version)
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. So there remains a Shabbat rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered God’s rest has also ceased from his own work, just as God did from His.
Throughout the Gospels, Yeshua/Jesus is challenged by the religious leaders because He doesn’t follow their Shabbat rules: He heals; He casts out demons; and, He even told a lame man to pick up his mat and walk! So, what is this Shabbat rest that remains? And, from what work are we supposed to have ceased?
In creation, God created for 6 days, and then on the 7th day, He rested. But, there was another time when He rested. Yeshua said on the cross, “It is Finished!” The work of redemption that He came to reveal and to accomplish was completed! Just as Joshua couldn’t take the children of Israel into rest, none of us can take ourselves or anyone else into rest!
When we can come to the understanding that God loves us; that He gave His Son, Yeshua for us; and that we simply need to BELIEVE that He did it for me! Then, we can finish our work! We can’t do anything to gain salvation! We need to stop trying! We need to rest in the fact that we are saved and that we are the people of God!
As the Lord spoke to me about Shabbat, He didn’t say things I need to do, He told me things I don’t need to do! Shabbat rest is a picture of salvation. We rest: God Blesses us, God Saves us, God Protects us, and God Leads us. God rested from creation, and Yeshua Finished His work! Now we rest!
