“Men on Purpose”
Facilitator:  Bro. Luis Cardenas (*)

Vision:  “Tearing Down, Repairing, and Rebuilding Walls”

Nehemiah 4:14  After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes” (your church*).

Mission Statement: Here at Emmanuel Worship Center, God has given us a mission for the Men’s Fellowship that is Scriptural, Christ centered, and Focused on helping and teaching men how to:

  • Tear down old walls (walls we built up as defenses to protect ourselves)
  • Repair broken and cracked walls (to restore relationships with God and men)
  • Build new walls (to defend those we love against the attacks of the enemy)

We do this in order to help us as men; become better husbands, fathers, and Godly examples to all those we come in contact with.

Purpose:  To build and be a part of a spiritual house; 1st Peter 2:4-5; “We are Living Stones, chosen of God, precious in His sight; building up a spiritual house, a Holy and Royal Priesthood, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

Like the stones given to David by God to kill Goliath, we must allow God to use us, to slay the giants that come against us; All to the Glory of God!

“Standing in the Gap”

Ezekiel 22:30  I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me for the land.”

We, as men, are standing in the gap before our Lord, for our land.

Come Fellowship with some true warriors of the Word.  With the task ahead of you never being as great as the power behind you, these mighty men of God will not only befriend you and guide you to build a true relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, but they will just be true outright friends and support you in the tough times.  With all of us needing fellowship with other men to help us reach our goals, there is no better place in the city than here at Emmanuel Worship Center, the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm.
